As of August 20th, Nike is officially 15 years old! Still hanging in there. We threw him a party, he got a steak (cut up into chunks), popcorn (his favorite), and a vanilla cupcake with frosting on it for his birthday. We put a candle on the cupcake and sung happy birthday for him that night. I have a few more pictures but I'll have to email them from my computer when I get home from work.
Still fighting the staph around his neck area but I think I'm getting it under control. Every night I take a hand tissue and spray it down with Vetricyn and rub it into the bare spot where all of the staph tries to accumulate, then I take another tissue and put the ointment on his skin (the name escapes me but its the one I recommended before). It looks like his hair is finally starting to grow back in that area, but very slowly.
